If National Geographic had a school…

Client – Climate Change Makers, International

Sector – Education, Media, Journalism.

Media – Creative Strategy, Social Enterprise Innovation, Brand Identity.

National Geographic has a beautiful focus, telling timely, community-inspired stories to the world, of the past, the present and of future-hope. Their USP has stood by them for over 100 years, since the birth of the publication. If National Geographic had a school, what would it look like, feel like, be like? What kind of school could be envisioned, if we mirrored the most respected publication in the world? Climate Change Makers’ focus is to inspire the narrative. To bring three unique stakeholders together as one media family, to inspire change through the art of storytelling.
Mentored by world class media professionals, media savvy students work in partnership with conservation NGOs, and learn to tell their unique stories to the world, through journalism pathways, teaching podcasts, film, writing, photography and social media. A fresh brand platform was created, as lively as CCM’s focus, attracting the schools core future-customer 16-25 international students. Clean graphics, with motivating photography, wrapped with a fresh colour palette was imagined. And finally a simple ‘eye’ icon was created which morphs into multiple icons with the click of a button.
